We printed and laid these out on the table and asked guests to sometime throughout the 3 hour briday shower fill them out. We also printede out notecards that said "Our Wish for You". We received 28 of the notecards all filled out!
A real treasure!

I loved this game however when I printed the advice cards, they did not print crisp and clear. I used the idea to design my own. Our guests enjoyed filling them out and I have compiled them in an album along with the shower photos as a keepsake for the bride to be. They were quite insightful!!!

I'm always amazed at the words of wisdom passed on to the bride and groom. The cards were handed out as gifts were opened so guests had time to think. Then the Maid of Honor read them out loud after gift opening, but kept the authors anonymous.

I used this "game" for a COUPLE SHOWER for my brother, and it was a great hit with both the guests and the bride and groom.
I changed a couple of things, however, that I think made it even better.
1. I had guests give separate advice to the bride and groom, which made for some really hilarious and meaningful advice. Couples also had the option of doing one together or separate, which also provided for some funny and interesting contrast. Doing it this way, I think, made the game more engaging to guests.
2. I modified the graphics/card to create two columns, one for "His" and one for "Hers," which better fit my purposes for the game.
3. I printed on card stock, and cut each card out. At the shower, which was outdoors under a tent, I strung up string and attached clothes pins. As guests completed their cards, they hung them up on the line. This gave other guests the opportunity to walk around and read them before we collected them.

I loved the concept and the way it looked on the screen. I did not like the way it looked after printing it. The graphics are poor quality and looked bad. I have a high quality color printer so I know that it was not the printer. I ended up creating something nicer on my own.
A must for any young marrieds - to - be

This is a simple idea that is worthwhile. It's fun for the couple to look back on the advice people give. Responses can be serious or light hearted/fun.

I loved that everyone got to think of something warm and loving to give the bride from their heart! How sweet!

Most memorable for my daughter, the person the shower was held for, was having the recipe cards (I sent out with the invitations) and the Words of Wisdom cards. These last two items really meant A LOT to her. More so than the gifts. The cards were very personal. Thanks so much. You really helped me out big time. The shower was a huge success. Matter of fact, I had several people tell me it was one of the best showers they had been to.
