Wedding Taboo was a HUGE hit at our Bridal Shower. It was inexpensive and I was able to print it immediately. Thanks for making our shower a great success!

First of all, I like this game because we didn't have to pull out the traditional "paper, pencil and magazine" to write on....don't you just hear the groans when we do that? The cards printed out a perfect size. I had about 30 people, so I divided them up into teams of 3. Each team took turns presenting clues to the rest of the entire group...this worked VERY well because each of the 3 people on the team could pow-wow and present clues so nobody was put "on stage", singled out or had too much embarassing responsibility. The team that guessed the word got a point, and the presenting team got a point. I kept track of each team's points, then each of the 3 members on the team with the most points won a prize. We went around the room 3 times so each team presented 3 times total to give us about a 20 to 30 minute game. Was a lot of fun, very lively, good feedback comments from shower attendees.
Fun Gams to Play

This game was really fun and I took the advice others that purchased this game and increased the print size by 150% and glued the cards on card stock. A little extra work, but worth it. One lady in the group liked it so much she asked if she could have a card to show her granddaughter who is getting married next year.
great game

The games was fun everyone enjoyed it. I would recommmend it to anyone. My problems were 1. the size of the cards, they were too small, and 2. the number of cards, not enough. 16 of us played the game each person getting a chance and by the time we reached down to the last two people, we ran out of cards and had to start over. But the game was overall lots of fun.
good game for interaction

alittle competition. I would recommend this game - something alittle different from the regular norm of bridal shower games

This game was definitely a hit! Everyone seemed to be having a really good time playing. I would definitely enlarge the cards for easier viewing (as others have also mentioned). It's actually quite easy to do. Go into print preview, set to print in landscape and enlarge to 150%. It will take twice as many pages to print, but it's well worth it. I printed my cards on cardstock and then cut them out. This game was a great ice breaker and produced LOTS of laughs!
It was great!

Great fun, would definitely recommend it, but had a lot of trouble printing the cards a reasonable size...Even with a computer genius husband...I recommend to others to print on card stock as this would be a game I would use over and over, if this had been the start of my bridal shower planning years! A naughty version for stagettes would be fun too...
Good but small

Game was good but cards were WAY too small!! We could barely hold them in our hands. Also, the picture of the cards shows the main word highlighted in pink. Much to my surprise when I started printing, there was no color whatsoever. Overall I would buy again but I wish I felt like I got what I paid for.
Everyone loved it

Regular Taboo is a favorite of the Bride and Groom. So when I saw this game, I had to get it. It was a huge hit with everyone (guests ranged in age from 19-80). We did a "practice" round first so people could get the idea. I recommend shuffling well. One team ended up with mother of the bride, father of the bride and mother of the groom all in a row. So much fun!

Everyone loved the game!! I followed the tips that I had read in the feedback: I enlarged the cards and put them on cardstock and we raced to see how many cards each team could get in a minute. The game was fast paced and exciting!! Everyone said it was really fun!!!

Didn't work out

The guests at my party were primarily in their 50's. They thought it was important that someone "police" this game to ensure the caller wasn't using the taboo words. Problem: the game didn't provide any policing sheet. So, during the party, I was frantically attempting to alphabatize the cards with a duplicate set to use for policing the game. This was a huge hassle, and we ended up not playing the game at all. Also, the printed cards were so small that I was afraid some of the women wouldn't be able to read them without reading glasses. So my husband spent several hours photo-shopping the cards onto expensive harder-stock paper. Basically this game turned out to be a boondoggle and cost me much more money than a real game of Taboo would have cost at a store.
Easy fix for size complaint

I agree the cards are small, but there is an easy fix. Before printing, change the % to size. I bumped mine up to 150% and then played with the margins to makes sure I had full cards on a page. Then I pasted them onto index cards to make them more sturdy. Worked great!
Great Fun!

Had many comments about how much fun this game was. We got a lot of laughs and giggles. We did make one modification. The direction said to give one card to a team and one minute to guess. Instead, we gave each team 1 minutes to get through as many cards as they could, at the end of a minute the timer went off and next team had a try. It was very exciting!
Fun game!

The game was good, but the words could be guessed more easily than I expected... There were some logical mistakes. Foe example, to guess the word groom, there was no tabvoo word on bride..The people just went "opposite of bride"...The same for went for groom.
Very fun, up-out-of-your-seat style game!!

Photoshop it if it's too small!!! Here's how:

Print screen the image, paste it in photoshop. Select a photo template to paste it on first. Left click and stretch the image with free transform. I did two rows at a time to make it a 2 X 3 inch card. Go to filter and sharpen edges so its not blurry when you print it.
Had a great time

Wedding Taboo was a hit at our bridal shower. The only one suggestion I have is for the card size to be enlarged, particularly for older players to have an easier time playing.
A Complete Hit

This game was a huge party hit. My only negative comment is that I wish the cards were bigger. But overall it was so much fun and easy to learn as they were ladies in attendance who had never played taboo. We split into teams and everyone had so much fun. It brought out the silliness and competitiveness in people. I provided gifts for the winning team and we played two rounds. Great Game, I highly reccommend it.
Everyone Thought This was Fun!

Printing and cutting was time-consuming, but saved on the price of the game. Everyone said it was really alot of fun to play! Someone even wanted to use the game for a shower they had to plan next year. I'd recommend this game to anyone!

The game was fun-It was a lil much for the people who hadn't played Taboo before but we got through it. The cards are a little small. If they could print bigger (normal taboo size), that would be ideal. Fun idea thoughwe really enjoyed it!

This game was lots of fun. My guests and I were laughing so hard trying to get our team members to guess the words without saying any of the words listed on the card. I think this is a great game for any bridal shower regardless of the age.

we didn't play as teams, every one received 3 cards and we went around the "cirlce" with each giving clues. Winning "guesser" took the clue card. At end of game, guest with the most cards won prize. We had one judge move around cirle to watch "clue giver" to enforce the taboo.
Love This Game!

Originally, the bride-to-be did not want to do ANY games during the bridal shower because she complained that most were too "cheesy." When I found "Wedding Taboo," her attitude totally changed! All of the guests participated and we gave out prizes to the winning team. The game was a HUGE success and everyone had fun. Thank you!! :-)
Gotta Get This One!

Very fun game and sparks just a bit of people's competitive nature! We played 7 rounds and that seemed to be the perfect number of rounds to keep the quests engaged.
